Validate you are a college student We collect your University e-mail address to make sure you are a college student. This makes sure only college students are meeting to exchange textbooks.
Your protection Providing your University e-mail address makes strangers a little less strange - at least we can ultimately find out who, and hold people accountable. Something other sites cannot / will not do.
Removal of annonimity Since almost all college students only get 1 University e-mail, we can protect the community from the negative elements that often occur online. We want BookDefy to be a fun site, have fun exchanges, and keep everyone safe.
