What quality is my textbook?

Our textbook quality ranking ranges from 1 - or Never Opened, to 7 - or bad. This is an arbitrary scale, but the following should be a general guideline of your textbooks.

1 - Never Opened textbooks

Generally, these are brand new textbooks in the original condition you got them from the bookstore.

2 - New

These textbooks may have minor wear, but are without highlighting, notes and other markings in the book. Generally, these have minor wear, but are otherwise nearly identical to what you purchased from the bookstore.

3 - Good

These books have minor wear in them, some notations and highlighting, but are overall in really good condition.

4 - Used

These books have good binding and good covers, will have some warped, folded pages and a lot of notes, highlighting in the book. All of the pages there, and the book is in good structural condition. There are no stains, water damage, etc. within the book.

5 - Fair

Used condition, but the covers and binding may be slightly damaged, torn, etc. Almost all pages are there, but there might be some coffee (substance) stains on the pages.

6 - Poor

Might have some pages torn out, wrinkled, and minor water damage. Binding is still good though.

7 - Bad

Water damage, pages missing, cover torn and broken, coffee stains. In other words, book is barely useful, but could still be used.
